Marketing Manager

Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is a crucial role at the Center for Executive Coaching (CEC), focused on creating and implementing strategic plans aimed at increasing awareness and driving new member growth through best practices in digital marketing, content marketing, marketing automation, and other essential activities for a B2C business model. The person in this position will work closely with the EVP of CEC and its original founder, directly reporting to the VP of Marketing at Keystone Partners, CEC’s parent company. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in marketing within a B2C context, demonstrate a strong bias for action, and thrive in a fast-paced growth environment. This role offers high visibility and significant opportunities for professional growth and development.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Planning: Assist in the development of marketing plans and budgets for CEC, aligning with Keystone Partners' broader vision while highlighting CEC's unique offerings.
  • Collateral: Collaborate with the team to produce new marketing collateral, presentations, mailings, email campaigns, and sales support materials consistent with company and division initiatives. Ensure the visual coherence of all documents and manage both print and online collateral.
  • Online Presence: Contribute to the development, delivery, and maintenance of CEC's online presence and lead generation. This includes updating websites and working with the internal technology department and leadership to enhance capabilities and ensure the effectiveness of content, thought leadership, and paid advertisements.
  • Social Media: In collaboration with marketing leadership, develop a compelling social media strategy for CEC that emphasizes its authority in executive coaching, particularly through LinkedIn.
  • Events: Collaborate with partners to organize virtual and in-person events for potential and current members, selecting topics, speakers, partners, and venues that position CEC as a thought leader in the executive coaching community.
  • Tracking and Budgeting: Assist in budget creation and management, program evaluation against quantitative and qualitative goals to assess ROI, and identification of improvement opportunities.
  • Vendor Management: Handle relationships with external vendors, including partner development, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing manager role within a B2C business environment.
  • Exceptional writing skills, particularly for an executive audience.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of personalities, including customers, executives, and colleagues.
  • Advanced proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office. Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Pardot, Salesforce.com) is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • A strong team player who is creative, resourceful, highly organized, self-motivated, diplomatic, and an independent problem solver capable of prioritizing multiple projects. Exceptional planning skills and meticulous attention to detail are a must.

Education/Certifications/Affiliations

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
